Soap bubbles which are familiar to me from my childhood, when viewed from a micro perspective, overlap the light reflected from the outside and inside of the thin film and cause interference of light. Therefore, even if the vivid color depends on the thickness of the soap film, its variation is composed of many factors such as chemistry, gravity, and humidity. The work explored and visualized those natural elements that are not conscious in everyday life. A micro phenomenon can be seen as a macro image of a planet.
シャボン玉シリーズ
子供の頃から馴染みのあるシャボン玉は、ミクロの視点で見ると、薄膜の外側と内側で反射される光が重なり合い、光の干渉がおこなわれている。そのためカラフルな色彩はシャボン膜の厚さに依存するが、その変化は、化学、重力、湿度など多くの要素から成り立つ。作品では日常的に意識しないそれらの自然要素を探求し可視化した。ミクロの現象が、マクロな惑星のイメージの様に見える。
